Offline Training Activity

The offline training activity gives you a simple and easy tool to register classroom training attendance. If you need more features, like a waiting list and automated messaging, please use the face 2 face activity.

Usage example

You want to schedule a classroom training for next month. You create a course and add the offline training activity.  After the toolbox training took place, you mark the users completed in the offline training activity. You can also write a short review. Users can login in and read the review in the offline training activity.

How to add and setup 

  1. Go to your course.
  2. Click on "Edit Content" and click on the plus icon in the section where you want to add the activity.
  3. Search for the offline training activity and click on it.
  4. Fill in the required fields:
    1. Name: The title of the offline training event.
    2. Training date: The date the offline training event will take place. This date will appear in the enrolled users calendars.
    3. All users enrolled in the course are automatically added to the offline training activity.
  5. Set the additional settings as desired.
  6. Set the completion criteria.

Once you are ready, click on "Save and display" to view the result.

Additional Settings

  • Description: Add a description to display on the screen.
  • Restrict Access: You can add a restriction to this activity. For example, a date or the completion of a different activity first.
